Winebarger Wedding

My passion for photography has always been to be able to capture moments you wouldn't be able to recreate.  Moments in time that you can revisit just by looking at a photograph.  When I was approached by Darcie to be the photographer for her wedding, I was excited, yet a little nervous.  Would I be able to do this?  What if I missed an important moment?  What if, in the end, the bride and groom were not happy with my work?  I have to say, all of these self doubts were quickly diminished when I met Darcie at her parent's house that morning.

Darcie looked gorgeous already and was so relaxed.  She wasn't your typical anxious mess ordering her bridal party around.  No she laughed, she talked, she enjoyed her morning.  Toasting with mimosas and then we were off to the church!

Met with Chris and his son before the ceremony started.  Not only is he one handsome guy, but his son was enough to crawl right into your heart and make a permanent nesting place.  They shared some personal moments before walking into the church.  My heart was full!  I knew this wedding was going to be so very touching and emotional.  I sure had my fill of candid moments!

The details such as the flowers and chalkboard signs were like something out of a magazine.  The bride's aunt did all of the flower arrangements and I was simply blown away.  The amount of work that went into this special day did not go unnoticed.

I came to this wedding to do a job for a wonderful couple.  What I didn't expect was to fully enjoy every single minute I was there.  Every single minute.  It was by far, the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to, and the guests and family were just as sweet as Darcie and Chris.  I experience my fair share of tears, laughs and smiles.  This was a day that I will look back on and forever enjoy.

Darcie and Chris, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me enough to capture your memories.  This day was nothing short of beautiful and I can only wish you both a lifetime of happiness.  Gabi and Dylan are such wonderful kids who also have such awesome role models.  You deserve only the best!  Thank you again.
