My two girls teach me more about myself every day. We took our almost 3 year old and almost 1 year old to their Na and Py's house to go swimming. My toddler embraced her fear of letting go and jumped right into my husband's arms. After she mastered the whole scary jumping in the pool experience, she wanted to do it over and over and over again. Until her lips were blue. She got the praise from everyone around her, (even little Miss Molly) at how great she was. How brave she was. She believed in those affirmations and it only made her more confident.
As I practice more and more on my photographic skills, I learn that I am only getting better. I am starting to trust other's compliments when they say I have "the eye". Why we ever self doubt, I will never know. All I know is that I can grip my feet tightly to the edge, take a deep breath and jump in.
Parrallel thoughts in their simplest form!
